1. Who operates this site
This website (hireloom.io) is operated under the trading name Hireloom by Georgiana Ionela Bordeianu, an independent IT recruiter based in Iași, Romania. Contact: iustin.potolinca998@yahoo.com. The operating entity’s legal form, trade-register (ONRC) number and fiscal code (CUI) will be listed here once registered and are available on request. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, govern your use of the site.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using this site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Submitting any form (hiring brief, candidate application, contact, or newsletter) is an explicit acceptance of these Terms and of our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Where you deal with us as a consumer, these Terms apply only to the extent they are fair under applicable consumer law.
3. The service
Hireloom is a founder-led boutique IT recruitment business. This website is informational: it presents our practice, lists current open roles, and provides forms through which hiring companies can brief us and candidates can apply or get in touch. Using the site does not by itself create any recruitment, employment, agency, mandate, or placement relationship — any engagement is governed by a separate written agreement. Hireloom acts as a recruitment intermediary; we are not the employer, and we do not set or pay wages or employment terms.
4. Eligibility and age
You must have the legal capacity to use this site and to submit information through it. Because our forms collect personal data, you must be at least 16 (the age of digital consent in Romania) — and, given the employment context, ideally 18 — to submit an application. The site is not directed at children; anyone under 16 must not submit personal data without the authority of a parent or guardian, and we will delete such data if we discover it.
5. Acceptable use
When using the site you must not:
- scrape, crawl, harvest, or use automated or bulk means to access the site outside the interface we provide;
- submit another person’s personal data (for example a CV or referee details) without their consent or authority;
- upload false, misleading, defamatory, unlawful, malicious (malware), or intellectual-property-infringing content;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems; or
- use the forms for spam, solicitation, or to collect candidate data.
Please provide accurate, current information when you contact us or apply. We may remove content, suspend access, and report unlawful conduct where necessary.
6. No guarantee of placement
Recruitment outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. We provide our services as an obligation of means (best efforts), not of result. We do not guarantee that any enquiry leads to an engagement, that any application leads to a response, shortlisting, interview, or offer, that any role is filled, or any particular salary or timeline. Submitting an application creates no obligation on Hireloom or any client to consider or respond.
7. Open-role listings
Role listings are provided in good faith for information only, are sourced from our clients, and may be incomplete, change, be filled, or be withdrawn at any time without notice. They are not job offers and do not constitute a binding offer of employment by Hireloom or any client; any salary range, location, or requirement is indicative. We are not liable for reliance on a listing that has since changed or been removed.
8. Intellectual property
The content, copy, design, layout, and code of this site, and the Hireloom name and branding, are owned by or licensed to Hireloom and protected by Romanian and EU copyright and trademark law. You may view the site and share links to it for personal, non-commercial use; you may not copy, republish, scrape, frame, or commercially reuse its content without our prior written permission. All rights reserved.
Content you submit (your CV and messages) remains yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to provide our recruitment service; our handling of the personal data in it is governed by the Privacy Policy.
9. Third-party links and services
The site links to and relies on third-party services — for example LinkedIn, and the infrastructure providers Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and storage), Resend (email), and Cloudflare (domain and DNS). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third parties; their own terms and privacy policies apply, and a link is not an endorsement. 10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. This does not exclude or limit any statutory right you have as a consumer or recipient under Romanian or EU mandatory law, which cannot be waived.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hireloom is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for: (a) death or personal injury, or harm to physical or mental integrity or health; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) intentional fault (dol) or gross negligence (culpă gravă), which cannot be excluded under Article 1355 of the Romanian Civil Code; and (d) any mandatory rights you have as a consumer under Law no. 193/2000 and Directive 93/13/EEC.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Hireloomagainst third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs that arise from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the site — in particular submitting another person’s personal data without authority, infringing intellectual-property rights, or uploading unlawful content. This covers only matters caused by your own breach or fault and does not extend to anything that is our responsibility.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date reflects the current version and we will signal significant changes. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms, which apply going forward. We will not make material changes to an existing engagement retroactively.
14. Suspension or termination of access
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the site, or remove submitted content, where you breach these Terms or applicable law, acting in a diligent, objective, and proportionate way. This does not affect your data-subject rights, which are handled under the Privacy Policy.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Romanian law and applicable EU law, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Romania (our seat in Iași). If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the mandatory protections of the law of your country of habitual residence (Rome I Regulation, Art. 6), and you may be able to bring proceedings in your own member state. Consumers in Romania may also contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) or use an authorised alternative dispute resolution (SAL) entity.
16. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision (or part of one) is held invalid or unenforceable, it is severed and read down to the maximum lawful extent, and the remaining provisions stay in force. Our delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement for your use of this website, separate from any signed recruitment-services agreement.
