Software Engineering

Backend, full-stack, iOS, Salesforce — engineering talent across stacks for product and platform teams.

Technologies and roles.

Typical roles

  • Senior Backend EngineerSenior
  • Full-Stack EngineerMid-Senior
  • iOS LeadLead
  • Salesforce DeveloperSenior
  • .NET LeadLead
  • Engineering ManagerLead

02Context

Where these roles live.

The typical environments where these roles sit — useful framing if you're scoping a new brief.

Software engineering placements span product engineering at scale-ups, platform teams inside larger orgs, and specialist contexts — Salesforce ecosystem development, iOS-only mobile teams, and Go/Rust backends where the talent pool is materially smaller than the headline number suggests. We screen for fit on actual code quality, not on framework name-drops.

03Method

How we approach it.

Why Software Engineering placements need a different approach from generic tech recruitment.

Stack-honest sourcing
If a candidate has shipped two side-projects in your stack but their day job is something else, we say so. No "5 years of TypeScript" that's actually two years of TS plus three of JavaScript.
Engineering culture fit
We screen on what your engineering org actually looks like — code review depth, on-call expectations, IC vs management track — not on generic "team player" tropes.
No volume sourcing
Software engineering recruitment is the easiest discipline to do badly with 100 CVs/week. We deliberately stay narrow — three CVs that fit, not thirty that don't.

04Track record

Recent placements.

Anonymised — we don't publish client names without written permission. Numbers are real.

  • Senior Backend Engineer (Go)

    Lisbon · Senior · placed 2025

Joined a fintech scale-up's payment-platform team — Go services, high throughput, exactly-once semantics.

  • iOS Lead

    Israel · Lead · placed 2025

Placed into a consumer-app company rebuilding their iOS estate on SwiftUI from a legacy Obj-C codebase.

  • Salesforce Developer

    Romania · Senior · placed 2024

Hired into a multinational's Salesforce CoE working on Service Cloud + Experience Cloud customisations.

  • Engineering Manager

    Berlin · Lead · placed 2024

Placed into a B2B SaaS scale-up's platform team, leading 6 engineers with first-time-manager mentoring as part of the brief.

05Questions

Common questions.

Common questions about Software Engineering placements. If yours isn't here, ask directly.

  • What stacks do you focus on?

Strongest pipeline: TypeScript / Node.js / React, Go, Python, Swift (iOS), and Salesforce. We work .NET and Rust roles but volume is materially lower.

  • Do you place engineering managers?

Yes — first-time-manager and seasoned-Lead both. We screen on engineering management substance (1-on-1s, performance management, road-mapping) rather than just "10 years of experience."

  • Can you support iOS-specific searches?

Yes. iOS is one of the niches where our network is unusually deep for our size — strong pipeline in Israel, Romania, and Poland for Senior and Lead Swift engineers.

  • Do you handle frontend-only roles?

For Senior+, yes. Frontend-only at Mid level we generally pass on — the market is full of volume agencies who serve that band better than we do.
